Introduction

To The Girl in my Heart,

You are already five years old and it has occurred to me that there is much that I want to say to you and to teach you but you are still too young to comprehend what I would be trying to say. It also occurs to me that I may not always remember what it is that I want to say to you, or be able to find the right words.

So I will try to write down the things that I think are important for you to know. And I will hope that one day you will be able to find my writings to you. I will hope that you read them and in doing so, come to know how much you are loved.

For now, the first thing that I want you to know is that you are truly amazing.
